Extremely lightweight and durable, our lower chain guard prevents hands and feet from getting pulled into the meshing chain and rear sprocket in the event of a crash. Also known as a “shark guard”, this piece of hardware is required by all professional road racing sanctioning bodies and is recommended for all sportbikes otherwise.
The guard bolts directly onto the swingarm bosses on some bikes, and mounts with a billet bracket on others. Fits most bikes — contact us if you are unsure. A complete mounting kit with hardware, placement template, and instructions is included. Pre-production guard shown. Production version is hard anodized with the logo laser engraved.
