We turned to long-time e/t believer, professional road racer, and expert race bike builder, Bryce Kornbau, to develop our Yamaha R7 rearsets.
With Bryce’s input, we completely re-architected the shift linkage, greatly improving shift feel and massively improving crash robustness. Leveraging our experience and aided by FEA modeling techniques, we lightened our footpeg brackets while strengthening them for yet more improvement to rigidity and even greater crash robustness. As with all our rearsets, we optimized footpeg position to enable high lean angles without overly compromising comfort. They are configurable for either GP or Standard shift patterns with no additional parts and come with a rear brake return spring kit at no additional cost. From their dual precision sealed roller bearings on both the shift and brake levers, to their industrial-grade spherical rod-ends, these rearsets will greatly enhance the feel and quality of the bike via improved footpeg placement and grip, more positive shifting, and better rear brake feel.
