We worked with none other than the legendary Josh Hayes to develop our Yamaha R9 rearsets. Josh’s experience across the breadth of race bikes and situations across the world proved invaluable to our development process, resulting in a product we are confident has no match.
For starters, Josh’s input regarding our optimization of the shift linkage geometry especially sets these rearsets apart. As with all our rearsets, we’ve optimized footpeg position to enable high lean angles without overly compromising comfort. They are configurable for either GP or Standard shift patterns with no additional parts and come with a rear brake return spring kit at no additional cost. From their dual precision sealed roller bearings on both the shift and brake levers, to their industrial-grade spherical rod-ends, these rearsets will greatly enhance the feel and quality of the bike via improved footpeg placement and grip, more positive shifting, and better rear brake feel.
